The Centre for AIDS
Interdisciplinary Research at Oxford and the Department of Social
Policy and Intervention, the Global Economic Governance Programme at
University College, and the Department of Public Health are organising
the 4th annual Oxford Student HIV/AIDS Research Day on November 26,
2012. All students/University members interested in HIV/AIDS research
issues are welcome to participate. If you are interested in taking part
in the organisation of the Research Day, please email mark.boyes@spi.ox.ac.uk.

For
World AIDS Day CAIRO, the Department of Social Policy and
Intervention,and Wolfson College facilitate an annual
interdisciplinary
workshop for graduate students and researchers interested in HIV/AIDS
at The University of Oxford. The third annual Oxford University Student
HIV/AIDS Research Day was held on
November 25, 2011 at Wolfson College. More than 60 students and researchers interested in HIV/AIDS participated.
Professor Sarah Rowland-Jones gave the keynote speech, which can be listened to here.
Students from the department of
Public Health, Social Policy and Intervention, Education and Politics
presented their research findings on a variety of topics and HIV/AIDS.

A regular series of HIV/AIDS seminars are held in Michaelmas Term, on
Tuesdays at 5.00 p.m. in the Violet Butler Room at the Department of
Social Policy and Intervention, Barnett House, 32 Wellington Square,

Series of Lectures
OXFORD GLOBAL HEALTH GROUP
Oxford Global Heath Group has three main goals: to raise interest and
learn more about global health; to learn practical skills applicable to
healthcare in a resource-poor setting; and to support health-related
charities. OGHG runs regular masterclasses with the aim of learning
more about the challenges of international healthcare, and has held
annual conferences for World Aids Day, Malaria day and TB day. You can

OXFORD GLOBAL HEALTH GROUP CAREERS FAIR
The Oxford Global Health Group Careers Fair is an annual event held in Hilary Term and organised by OGHG.
INAUGURAL MEETING
The inaugural meeting of CHAPPS was held on 10 June 2008 at Green
College, Oxford. The meeting brought together over 30 academics and
students to debate and develop a 5-year strategic plan for Oxford's
future research, funding and teaching in HIV and AIDS. A copy of the report is available to download.
